Jaafar Jackson Will Act As Michael Jackson Biopic Movie

Michael Jackson’s nephew, Jaafa Jackson is set to star in a soon to be released Biopic movie of the king of pop, titled ‘Michael’.

Born in July 25 1996, Jaafar Jackson is an American singer and dancer, he is the son of Michael Jackson’s brother, Jermaine Jackson and Alejandra Genevieve. In 2019, he released his debut single, “Got Me Singing” and is set to debut in a movie portray his uncle, Michael Jackson, in the upcoming biographical musical drama directed by Antoine Fuqua.

The production of ‘Michael’ started in November 2019 after Graham King secured the right to produce a film about the life and story of Michael Jackson from his early days in Jackson 5 to his solo career. After numerous cast from different Jackson lookalike across the world, Jaafar was selected as he stood out from the crowd from the way he acted and dance. Filming started in January 22 2024 and completed may 30 2024. Additional filming actually happened in 2025.

The film will be release on April 24, 2026 by Lionsgate in theaters all over United States of America and Kino Films in Japan while it will be released worldwide by Universal Pictures.
